Hello there! We are The Bumblebee System, a verbally diagnosed DID system of 61 members. On this carrd you can find some information about our alters.
About us
Bumblebees are known to be hard workers that are great at communicating. This is what we aspire to be like as well. Teamwork is something we're good at as a system, henceforth we chose this name. Next to DID, we have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and are dealing with depression. Therefore we ask of you to please be patient with us if you decide to interact!
What is DID/OSDD
DID is a dissociative disorder that is caused by childhood trauma. Because of this, the child's development is interrupted, including their identity construction. Due to trauma being so overwhelming and stressful, the child unconciously creates seperate identities, also known as alters, in order to cope with this trauma. This also goes paired with amnesia between alters.OSDD is similar to DID, but doesn't fully meet the diagnostic criteria. OSDD-1a systems have less distinct parts and could represent the person's emotional response states or the original person at different ages when trauma occurred. OSDD-1b systems don't experience dissociative amnesia between alters. The alters present themselfs more like DID, but they don't experience the same type of mental blackouts or time jumps. OSDD-1b systems can still experience emotional amnesia.
